What’s on your Christmas wishlist?

Okay, this is the superficial kind of gifting list. You’ve worked hard this year to make sure that those closest to you have enough money to buy you the kind of gift you would like to receive. Have you started leaving those advertising brochures and magazines open in strategic ways to get the best return on your labour?

I really don’t have anything on my list as of yet. Admittedly, I’m a late starter when it comes to gifting. I blame being raised in a deadline orientated creative environment for so many years. Everything always works out in the end.

I also don’t really need anything more than what I’ve already got. If I focus on luxuries then I might include things like these:

Precious Platinum Rare Collection – Housed in an elegant silver jewelry box, each product promises to maintain skin’s electrical balance while keeping pollutants out and moisture in. $950 at La Prairie

Prada Saffiano leather iPad case, $450, Saffiano rose pen, $275, and memory stick, $290, prada.com

Audi R8 GT, $196,000

Of course – chocolates, lotions and trinkets will be graciously accepted.
